Nerviano, Italy July 26, Accelera Srl (Accelera), a global leader in preclinical in-vivo tox and a member of the NMS Group, today announced that Luca Leone will be stepping down as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, due to personal reasons. Hugues Dolgos, Pharm.D., Chairperson of Accelera’s Board of Directors, will serve as CEO.

Mr. Leone has led Accelera to successfully concluded the carve-out of its Bioanalytical and Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics businesses to Frontage Laboratories Inc. and steered the company through a period of elevated external challenges with sustainability.

“It has been an honor to lead Accelera and work alongside our talented team,” said Mr. Leone. “After this intensive but rewarding period as CEO, I believe now is the right time for a leadership transition. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together and confident in the company’s future.
